Psychotherapy

Our psychotherapy team includes Registered Psychologists, Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Social Workers. Our therapists use different modalities to support their clients, such as Somatic Experiencing, DBT, IFS, and more. Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic Medicine is the use of food, nutrients, herbs, lifestyle changes, and other natural approaches to support healing and wholeness in the body. Dr. Marcoux is trained to review your full health history in order to determine the root cause of your health concerns. She treats the whole person, not just individual symptoms.


Child + Youth Counselling

Our team of child therapists offers counselling services to children and youth aged 5 to 17.


Practicum

Practicum Counsellors have completed all of the required coursework for their Masters degree. They provide counselling services at an accessible rate of $75 per hour session.

Meet Kyila! (pronounced Ky-la). Kyila is a registered Social Worker with over a decade of experience working with patients and their families in the healthcare system.

Kyila works from a trauma-informed approach to support others. She has experience with diverse populations facing health challenges in both rural and urban settings. She is a fierce advocate for the people she serves and is passionate about learning new ways to help individuals overcome challenges.

Kyila loves any opportunity to spend time in nature, especially in the sunshine. She’s often found sipping on a strong black coffee and keeping busy between work and home life. She is an introvert who loves discount fashion and being physically active in her home gym. Her greatest love is being a mom and spouse which keeps her heart happy and on her toes.

Hayley has successfully completed the academic portion of her Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is now embarking on the practicum phase of her training. As a result, Hayley is offering her counselling services at no cost or reduced rate during this time. Hayley offers counselling to individuals, couples, and families.

When you meet with Hayley for the first time, you can expect to be welcomed with a warm, empathetic presence and a non-judgmental attitude. She believes that therapy is a powerful tool for individuals to prioritize their well-being, set meaningful goals, and ultimately, transform their lives for the better. She views the counselling process as a collaborative journey, where you are the expert on your own experiences. Hayley’s role is that of a guide and facilitator, helping you to explore your thoughts and feelings, reflect on your experiences, and discover new pathways for healing, growth, and self-improvement.

Caitlin is a provisional registered psychologist who has a master’s degree in School and Counselling Psychology. She comes to New Earth Therapy offering individual therapy and psychoeducational assessments to children, adolescents, and adults.

Caitlin employs flexible, holistic, and alternative approaches focusing on client-centred and solution-based theories, dialectical behaviour therapy, internal family systems, and cognitive behaviour therapy.
